This workshop is for anyone looking to explore the deeper layers of their subconscious and connect with shadow aspects of their psyche. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to engage with your inner world.

This is a "spooky-lite" workshop. This is a didactic and experiential journey into the subconscious, exploring the 7 Po spirits through the lens of Chinese metaphysics. You’ll learn how these spirits relate to the autonomic nervous system and engage with them through somatic embodiment practices. We also cover everyday protection practices and simple cleansing rituals, empowering you with tools for self-awareness and balance. While we explore shadow aspects, the focus is on learning, transformation, and bringing light to hidden parts of ourselves.

Everyday possessions are moments when we act in ways that don't feel like our usual selves. This could look like snapping at a loved one, feeling jealous of a friend's success, checking a partner's phone out of suspicion, or getting stuck in endless procrastination. In Chinese metaphysics, these behaviors are seen as signs of an imbalance in the Po spirits, which govern our subconscious instincts and reactions. By recognizing these moments as everyday possessions, we can bring awareness to the underlying imbalance and work to restore harmony within ourselves.

Hungry Ghosts, in both Chinese metaphysics and spiritual traditions, represent insatiable desires or unfulfilled emotional needs that linger in our psyche. They symbolize a deep sense of longing, emptiness, or dissatisfaction, often arising from unresolved traumas or imbalances in our Po spirits. Hungry Ghosts manifest as patterns of obsession, addiction, or constant yearning for something we feel we lack, whether it's love, validation, or success. By acknowledging and addressing these Hungry Ghosts, we can release their hold on us and move toward healing and inner peace.

All participants will a recording available for 3 months. However, the breakout room practices will not be recorded to ensure the privacy of the group discussions.

In addition to the teachings on the Po spirits and Hungry Ghosts, this workshop offers powerful experiential practices designed to help you process and integrate what you learn. You’ll engage in somatic embodiment exercises to connect with your Po spirit and explore the deeper layers of your subconscious. We also cover simple protection and cleansing practices to help you maintain energetic balance and navigate the rest of the Dragon year with clarity and resilience. These tools are practical, empowering, and can be used in your daily life to cultivate greater self-awareness and protection.
